BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer entered a written plea of not guilty for a misdemeanor battery charge in Walton County, Florida.

Kromer, who is on paid administrative leave from the Bills, is scheduled to appear in court on September 2nd.

The Bills open training camp Friday morning with that situation still unresolved. At the moment, assistant offensive line coach Kurt Anderson would likely be the one taking over for Kromer when camp opens.

“I have a lot of confidence in Kurt,” center Eric Wood said Wednesday. “I know him very well, I have a ton of respect for him. I think he’s a great coach and he’s got an extremely bright future.”

The first training camp practice is scheduled to begin at 10am Friday morning at St. John Fisher College. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
