Deputies bust local woman with hundreds of pills

CONCORD, N.Y. (WIVB) — Armed only with reports of a suspicious vehicle, Erie County Sheriff’s Deputies came away with two arrests when they responded to a scene in Concord late Wednesday night.

Erie County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to South Vaughan Street in Concord on reports of the suspicious vehicle, and once they located the vehicle they searched the driver and passenger inside. Upon the search, deputies came away with a host of drugs, including 141 pills and marijuana.

Police arrested both Megan Shimburski, the passenger who allegedly had over 100 pills on her person, and Ryann Skiver, the 29-year-old driver accused of having marijuana. Police say Shimburski had 99 hydrocodone tablets, 20 alprazolam tablets, 19 oxycontin tablets, two oxycodone tablets and a suboxone strip.

Shimburski stands charged with felony criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell and seven counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both Shimburski and Skiver face charges of unlawful possession of marijuana.
