Police: Resident shot in broad daylight

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Thursday shooting in broad daylight has police searching for a shooter in Buffalo.

Police say one 18-year-old man sustained injuries from gunfire, forcing first responders to rush him to the Erie County Medical Center. Investigators remained on the scene at the 200 block of Leroy Avenue to investigate the 2 p.m. shooting.

Officials say the man did not suffer life threatening injuries. But one shooter is on the loose. Police are asking for your help. Anybody with information is asked to call (716) 847-2255.
