BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Outside an Erie County office building, concerned passerby called for police help when one local allegedly offered to sell them cigarettes.
Police who responded to the call for help investigated the man, who they identified as 57-year-old Lawrence Foggie, and decided he was selling illegal cigarettes. While patting him down, police say they found suboxone strips and marijuana.
Foggie stands charged with selling unstamped cigarettes, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He’ll return to court on July 31.
