PITTSFORD, N.Y. (WIVB) – Plenty of items to make you go “hmmm” on day one of training camp, but nothing overly earth-shattering.

Matt Cassel, the veteran option, was the first QB to get a shot with the starters. The order is expected to rotate on a daily basis until the three-man QB race is settled.

Corey Graham was the starting safety over Duke Williams, a mild surprise. Graham made the position switch earlier in the offseason, but he’s a veteran with a lot of snaps in the NFL on defense. I like the move and think he’s a very good fit.

As expected, Cyrus Kouandjio was with the starters at right tackle, but fully expect Kouandjio and Seantrel Henderson to battle for the starting job over the next few weeks. Henderson started last year, but landed in the doghouse with Rex Ryan after missing a day of mandatory minicamp due to travel issues.
