Police arrest three in connection to home invasion

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo police have arrested three individuals in connection with a late July home invasion.

Police say three individuals entered a Minnesota Avenue home through a back window at about 5 a.m. while two homeowners inside slept.

Invaders then ushered their victims into a family basement of the home and made off with cell phones, televisions and other electronics.

The Intelligence Unit of the Buffalo Police Department was able to locate the stolen items and then connect them back to the suspects.

Police have arrested two 17-year-olds and one 16-year-old, all from Buffalo.

Charges against the teens range from first degree burglary to criminal possession of stolen property.
