Firefighters rush to SUV fire on the I-190

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) — An SUV burst into flames Wednesday night forcing the response of local fire companies.

Fire companies on Grand Island rushed to the scene of the fire, which sparked just after 8:00 p.m. on the Grand Island side of the Grand Island Bridge.

The fire blocked the right lane of the I-190. Crews cleared the scene just before 8:40 p.m.
