Raid on motel nets two drug arrests

TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Investigation into a suspicious motel room led police to arrest two on drug charges.

Amherst Police and Town of Tonawanda Police worked with New York State Police to conduct a search warrant on the Tonawanda motel room, in which they found two local men who allegedly had drugs on them. Police say this week they arrested Buffalo natives Christian D. Villot and Omar Ayala.

Police say inside the motel room they found 97 baggies of what they believe is heroin. They also seized other drug paraphernalia.

New York State Police declined to give other information, but Villot and Alaya will return to court in the Town of Tonawanda at a later date. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
