A group of puppies make the move ‘home’

LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) – A volunteer animal rescue flight organization landed in Lancaster with 27 puppies on Sunday.

PilotsNPaws is a group of volunteer pilots that pick up rescue dogs and deliver them to suitable shelters.

Daniel Drennan flew to Ohio and West Virginia to pick up the rescue dogs then brought them to Western New York so they could find their forever homes.

“This is a record for me, 27 in one flight. I’ve never had 27 in this 4 seat airplane. Today we did. I love to fly and it just gives me a purpose to fly and a place to go. It’s just a good thing to do,” said Drennan

The dogs will be available from adoption at Pibbles & More Animal Rescue, Open Arms Rescue of WNY and Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue, Inc.
