New interactive exhibit for kids to debut at Erie County Fair

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) – Erie County Fair Officials unveiled the “Little Hands on the Farm” exhibit Sunday.

The interactive exhibit will further expand on the society’s commitment to agriculture education.

Little Hands on the Farm is a 16,000 square foot kid-sized farm that will feature ten barns, a garden, and a peddle tractor track. Children will have the opportunity to travel throughout the farm and participate in various “chores” at each barn.

It is the goal of Erie County Agricultural Society to educate children and their families on the work that is done on farms each and every day in an interactive and fun way

The permanent attraction will debut to the public on August 12, opening day of the 176th Erie County Fair. Thursday, August 13 is “Channel 4 Day” at the Fair; visitors can pay only $4 to park and $4 for admission. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
