Police: Parole check nets two arrests, cocaine inside safe

DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) — While checking up on parolees in Dunkirk, police say they made discoveries that led to two arrests.

Over the weekend, police in Dunkirk say they entered a home on Hoyt Street to check on parolees under the supervision of New York State Parole. While searching the apartment, police say they found cocaine in a safe, an electronic scale, marijuana, packing materials and $1,335 in cash.

Police arrested both Bianca M. Larkins, 25, and Zacre T. Jasinski, 24. Each stands charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree.

Each will return to court at a later date to answer charges.
