Buffalo man charged with driving drunk nearly four times over legal limit

VERONA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man is in jail in Oneida County, charged with drinking and driving at aggravated levels.

Police say they responded to calls reporting a tractor trailer on the side of the road, and New York State Troopers found the truck traveling on the side of the road at about 10 miles per hour.

Inside the truck, police say they found a drunk Buffalo man, identified as 32-year-old Robert F. Young. Police say Young failed field sobriety tests, blowing a .30 percent on a breathalyzer test.

Young stands charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. He’ll return to court at a later date.
