Casa-Di-Pizza closes its Elmwood location permanently

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Rather than run two pizzeria locations, Casa-Di-Pizza owners have decided to move forward with only one location, and close another.

Elmwood Avenue’s Casa-Di-Pizza restaurant — originally slated for renovation — will instead get the ax and close permanently to the public. It marks the end of an era for the long standing establishment, which has seen both ups and downs.

For fans of the Casa-Di-Pizza taste, a new location on Mohawk Street in downtown Buffalo is open now, and is run by the same family. The new establishment, dubbed JJ’s Casa-Di-Pizza will offer dine-in, take-out and delivery.
