Man robs Niagara Falls M&T Bank branch

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man fled the scene of a bank robbery in Niagara Falls late Tuesday afternoon, sparking a police hunt.

Officers with the Niagara Falls Police Department say they responded around 3 p.m. to a bank robbery at Main Street’s M&T Bank branch, but by the time they responded, the robber fled the scene.

The bank robber didn’t wield a visible weapon, and nobody in the bank reported any injury. On security footage, police identified a person who they believe robbed the bank. Now they’re searching for a male between 25- and 30-years-old who is about 5’10” tall.
