Man charged with 10 crimes including DWI

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An early morning arrest led to 10 different charges for a person who police say stole from a local gas station.

Erie County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a gas station in the Village of Alden after an employee there called for help. Police say they caught up with Troy Pulli, 19, who they say stole from the gas station.

While investigating the theft, police say they realized Pulli was intoxicated. Deputies arrested the teen and asked him to submit to testing, which he refused. A drug recognition expert decided he consumed a drug that impaired his ability to drive, leading to the DWI charge.

Police also charged Pulli for not having a valid license, possessing a fictitious document, possession of marijuana, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle while on a highway, under aged drinking and other vehicle and traffic violations.

Pulli is set to return to court on Aug. 20. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
