DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) – On Saturday, New York State Police were called to Route 5 in the Town of Dunkirk to check on the well being of a person.
Police say that when they arrived they discovered an argument that became physical. They say that Jacobs Wilson, 35, of Dunkirk threatened an adult and 11 year-old child with a machete and kitchen knives.
Wilson was arrested for menacing in the second degree with a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment in the second degree with physical contact. He was taken into custody processed at the Fredonia State Police station.
Wilson was arraigned at the Town of Dunkirk Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $4,000 cash or $8,000 bond. He is due back in the Town of Dunkirk Court on September 14.
