Dunkirk Police make cocaine bust in local home

DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) — During the search of a local home, police say they found drugs and paraphernalia, leading to two Tuesday arrests.

Dunkirk Police worked with other agencies to raid a home on Woodrow Avenue at around 3 p.m. While inside, police say they found cocaine, scales, controlled substances and cash.

Police then arrested the two occupants of the apartment, Tyrone Hall and Aliza Hooten, charging each with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second degree criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

A judge remanded each person to jail without bail. Each person will return to court at a later date.
