JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Jamestown man is facing lengthy jail time if convicted of charges of trafficking cocaine in the City of Jamestown.
Police say while investigating the trafficking of cocaine, they searched a home on Columbia Avenue. Armed with a search warrant, they entered the home of Gerald W. Rivera Jr., 34, and searched inside.
Jamestown Police Officers say they found powder cocaine and drug paraphernalia. The discovery led police to charge Rivera with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Additional charges could be filed as the investigation continues, police say.
