VIDEO: Alabama fishermen rescue kittens from river, call it ‘Catfishing’

ALABAMA (MEDIA GENERAL) — A few Alabama fishermen say they had a few furry catches as they rescued swimming kittens to the safety of their boat on Saturday.

Jason Frost and Brandon Key say they were enjoying a normal day of fishing on Warrior River when two kittens swam up to their boat, wanting to come aboard.

The two fishermen waited until the kittens swam close enough then snatched them by the scruff of the neck to haul out and into safety. The fishermen have yet to reveal what happened to the kittens thereafter.

The video has since gone viral with support nationwide. Filmed on a GoPro camera, the company even reached out on Youtube to the fishers who saved the kittens to offer them a reward for being Good Samaritans.
