Amber Alert canceled for missing Vermont girl

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) — Vermont State Police say a girl reported missing through an Amber Alert in their state and New York is found and is safe Saturday morning.

Police believed Kayleida Hardy, age 4 or 5, was abducted Friday night. Troopers say she is safe and two suspects believed to have taken her are in custody.

Cell phones sounded in western New York around 2:15 a.m. to let people here know she was missing and may have been heading to Illinois.
