Labor Day freebies and deals

Applebee’s$6.99 burger and bottomless fries on Monday (dine-in, 3 p.m. to close).

Ancestry.com: Through Monday you can search Ancestry.com’s databases for free. This includes databases of probates and wills, and records of births, marriages and death.

Arby’s: FREE slider with any sandwich purchase. To get the coupon, click here and enter your name.

Blue Star Museums: Labor Day ends the Blue Star Museums program for military families, which allows them free admission to nearly 2,000 museums nationwide.

Carrabba’s: 15 percent discount on lunch or dinner. You’ll need a coupon, which you can get from the Carrabba’s Facebook page.

Firehouse Subs: FREE medium sub with the purchase of sub, chips and medium drink. You’ll need a coupon, which you can get on the Firehouse Subs Facebook page.

LongHorn Steakhouse: Through Sep. 6, get $4 off two dinner entrees. You’ll need this printable coupon.

Mimi’s Cafe: BOGO entrees. You’ll need this printable coupon.

National Park Foundation: Starting on Sept. 1 of this year, every 4th grader in the United States is eligible to receive a free, school year-long pass for free admission to the National Parks. This program is called Every Kid in a Park, and is designed to expose youngsters to this country’s National Parks system.

Olive GardenFREE entrée to take home with the purchase of an entrée starting at $12.99.

Papa John’s: Papa John’s Rewards members can earn a FREE large pizza by making an online purchase of $15 or more.
