4 students arrested for allegedly vandalizing school

FILLMORE, N.Y. (WIVB) – Four students face charges after police say they vandalized their school in Allegany County.

New York State Police responded to a report of vandalism at Fillmore High School in the Village of Fillmore on Friday. At first, police thought a 15 year-old girl was identified as a suspect but she was later cleared of any involvement in the crime.

School surveillance cameras helped to positively identify 4 boys, aged 14 – 16, all students of the school, who allegedly used markers to write on interior walls of the school and spray painted a statue of an eagle in front of the school.

All four suspects were arrested for burglary in the third degree and criminal mischief in the third degree and issued appearance tickets to appear in court at a future date.
