PHOTO: Police search for man who stabbed students at Buffalo State

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A hunt is on at Buffalo State’s public campus after an altercation between a group of men sent two to the hospital with wounds incurred from some type of blade.

Police say early Monday morning an assailant stabbed one Buffalo State student and another suffered other injuries from the assault. Officers released the man’s image on Tuesday, asking for the public’s help in identifying him as they pursue him on assault charges.

A black man, captured on camera at 2:30 a.m. at the student apartment complex on Buffalo State campus, is the focus of the search. Police say the man is between 18- and 22-years-old and is about six-feet tall, weighing about 190 pounds.
