BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Finally, it’s time to play some real, actual NFL football.
On Sunday, the Bills host the high-scoring Indianapolis Colts, a team led by the NFL’s premier young quarterback in Andrew Luck, buoyed by wide receivers T.Y. Hilton and Andre Johnson and running back Frank Gore. It’s a measuring stick game for the Bills’ highly-regarded defense, who will enter Sunday without one of its star players.
Marcell Dareus will serve his one-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, meaning Corbin Bryant will start in his place, next to defensive stalwart Kyle Williams. Rookie cornerback Ronald Darby makes his first career start, coming off an up-and-down preseason that, for the time being, may have exposed a weakness in the Bills’ secondary.
