Police: Three arrested after meth lab uncovered in apartment

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — An uncovered basement meth lab led police to arrest three locals in the City of Jamestown Wednesday.

Police raided a basement apartment on East Second Street after securing a search warrant. Inside, police say they found methamphetamine and heroin, along with precursors for the production of methamphetamine.

Officers arrested 28-year-old Amanda Penhollow and 29-year-old Richard Philbrick, residents of the apartment, along with 36-year-old Donald King. Police say each stands charged with methamphetamine related charges.

All three Jamestown residents were jailed in the Jamestown City Jail as they wait for arraignment. Police say anybody with tips should call them in a (716) 483-8477.
