Man climbs through window to rob Tim Hortons

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Police in Cheektowaga are looking to identify a man robbed a Tim Hortons on September 3.

A man riding a bicycle climbed through a window and removed cash from an open register.

The man was wearing a white tee shirt and tan shorts with white socks.

Police say that the man probably lives in the area because an employee from another location stated they have seen him before on a bike.

The incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. at a store located at 3816 Union Rd.

Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Chojnacki at 686-3923 or text the anonymous tip line at 847-411 and enter the text “CPDNY” followed by your message.
