BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane has been listed on a roster for the team’s upcoming training camp and is expected to attend.
Blackhawks team leadership, including president John McDonough, general manager Stan Bowman and head coach Joel Quenneville will be available for comment on Thursday ahead of the training camp that opens on Friday.
Kane has had a quiet summer in the face of rape allegations allegations. He didn’t publicly celebrate his turn with the Stanley Cup that he and his team won weeks prior to the allegations, and he’s made no public appearances since the allegations.
Erie County District Attorney Frank Sedita and Hamburg Police have an open investigation, and a grand jury proceeding could still follow. Kane has not been charged with a crime.
