New members wanted for Aircraft Rescue Firefighting unit in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority is looking to hire new members for its Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) unit at Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

An exam will be held at the airport for applicants on Saturday, Oct. 24, but the deadline to apply is this Friday.

The airport’s ARFF team is an elite firefighting and rescue unit that is trained to handle all types of aviation-related incidents, such as structural fires and medical emergencies.
