Juveniles accused of breaking into a Family Dollar in Dunkirk

DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two juveniles are in trouble with the law after allegedly burglarizing a Family Dollar in Dunkirk.

Officers on patrol say they discovered the front glass door of the East 4th Street store was smashed at around 2 a.m. Monday.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage and were eventually able to track down the young men believed to be responsible.

The juveniles were released to the custody of their parents and are scheduled to appear in family court on burglary, petit larceny and criminal mischief charges.
