DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) — A hold-up at a Cattaraugus County Bank didn’t end well for the alleged robber.
Police say 29-year-old Tyler Moon passed a note demanding money to a teller at a Main Street branch in Dunkirk Thursday afternoon, without saying a word.
The teller complied, but pressed a silent alarm allowing officers to set up a perimeter in the area. Officers say they tracked down Moon in a field not far from the bank and recovered more than $1,000.
Moon is charged with robbery and grand larceny.
