BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An annual event that allows the public — and any interested members — an exclusive glimpse into the Girl Scouts organization is planned for the weekend.
Officials from the Girl Scouts of western New York stopped by to announce and detail the event on University at Buffalo’s south campus. They’ll host a day-long event to show off how fun it can be to join the organization and participate in activities.
The event will showcase certain events, like the different activities and learning opportunities, that Girl Scouts get to enjoy, but also the team building and bonding activities, like making s’mores.
“Why wouldn’t you want to come and join the sisterhood?” Morgan Williams-Bryant, one Girl Scouts official, questioned.
Events will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Room 100 in Allen Hall. Anybody interested in attending should learn more here.
