Lyndon man accused of taking license plates, violating order of protection

MACHIAS, N.Y. (WIVB) — A young Lyndon man is in trouble with the law after allegedly violating an order of protection.

State police say they were called Tuesday by a woman who told them her ex-boyfriend, who she has the protection order against, came to her workplace and took the plates off her car.

Authorities then arrested 26-year-old Jeremy J. Perkins and charged him with criminal contempt.
