Police respond to east side drive-by shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Multiple officers responded to a shooting in broad daylight on Buffalo’s east side Monday.

Police responded to the intersection at Mulberry and Carlton Streets on Monday afternoon just before 2:30 p.m. to respond to a drive-by shooting. Officers say a man suffered a gunshot wound but did not sustain life-threatening injuries. The victim is recovering in the Erie County Medical Center.

A full investigation is underway, but police are asking for the public’s help. Anybody with information is asked to call police anonymously at (716) 847-2255.
