Fantasy characters and more make their way to Buffalo for Comic-Con

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Superheroes, villians and more are on their way to Buffalo for Comic-Con.

Comic-Con is an event that will feature characters and culture from comics, graphic novels, video games, toys, movies, and television.

The Buffalo Comic-Con was previously held in the Northtowns but due to its increasing size, the event was moved to the Buffalo Convention Center this year.

Queen City Bookstore owner Emil Novak helped put together the event and says, “We have a great show planned.”

Comic-Con runs Saturday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Tickets cost $15 for one day’s admission. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
