Poloncarz to present reimbursement checks for Snowvember storm

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announced he will be presenting reimbursements checks to local fire departments affected by the November snowstorm of 2014.

Poloncarz appeared Friday at the Erie County Fire Training Academy in Cheektowaga alongside Commissioner of Emergency Services Daniel Neaverth at 5:30 p.m. to present the checks to those who worked to keep western New York safe.

Nineteen different fire departments will be receiving reimbursement checks for their efforts during the dangerous storm.
