AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB)- Erie County Clerk Jacobs and the Erie County Office for the Disabled will be holding a special disability awareness outreach day on Saturday, October 17th from 9am -12:30 p.m.
The outreach will be held at the Erie County Auto Bureau located at 3095 Sheridan Driver in Amherst.
Disability awareness outreach day at the Auto Bureau is the first planned event of this type created to assist individuals and their family members with disabilities obtain state issued picture identification through the Auto Bureau.
The Erie County Office for the Disabled will also be on hand to provide a thorough understanding of how the county can assist and make opportunities available to all residents and their family members who are disabled through various programs and services.
Those who interested in obtaining either a Driver’s License, an Enhanced License or a Non-Driver Identification are required to bring the following documents as proof of identification: original birth certificate (or certified copy) and social security card.
