Sabres top Maple Leafs 2-1

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A home winning streak of six games against the Toronto Maple Leafs continues as the Buffalo Sabres come away victorious with a final score of 2-1.

In Wednesday night’s game, Evander Kane scored his first goal for Buffalo, launching the game into overtime.

Wednesday was Kane’s first time on the ice for more than 22 minutes since December of last year.

With the recent victory, the Sabres are now 2-4-0 overall. Buffalo has won 20 of the last 22 games against Toronto.

The Maple Leafs stand at 1-3-2.
