Sabretooth makes special day for Lancaster tots

LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — Helping to promote early learning in a children’s center brought the popular Sabretooth mascot to Lancaster on Thursday.

The Sabres mascot visited Doodle Bugs on Rehm Road in Lancaster as part of the national Read for the Record event.

“All kids were urged to read the same story on the same day to break the record,” Kate Bogdan, a Doodlebugs manager, said. “All of Doodlebugs locations are participating and in Lancaster, we were lucky enough to have Sabretooth here for the event.”

Mr. Doodlebug joined Sabretooth as the group read “Not Norman: A Goldfish Story” together.
