WILSON, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a burglary suspect accused of breaking into a house in the Town of Wilson.

A Chestnut Road homeowner was startled to find a man in her dining room around 11 a.m. Friday morning.

Upon his discovery, the man fled the house in a “small, black vehicle with a flat, square back”.

The suspect is described as white, in his mid-thirties, around six feet tall with a medium build and having black hair styled in a “grown out buzz cut”.

The homeowner says the suspect was wearing “a black, puffy, long winter jacket with red trim around the collar, a white t-shirt, and blue jeans”.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 438-3327 or the Sheriff’s Office’s non-emergency line at 438-3393.
