Police: Drunk Lackawanna man escapes hospital and drives away

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Orchard Park Police say they responded to a call at Mercy Ambulatory Care Center for a drunk man attempting to escape just before 6 p.m. Thursday.

After receiving a description of the man’s vehicle, police tracked it down and say they saw it crossing the double center line on Webster Road.

Police say Lackawanna resident, Donald Kill, 60, was driving drunk after failing sobriety tests.

Kill was previously convicted of DWI in 2010 and 2011. This is his second felony DWI arrest.

He was arraigned and released on $1,000 bail to appear in court at later date.
