Sheriff: Man runs over woman with ATV

SENECA NATION, N.Y. (WIVB) — Erie County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an incident at the Seneca Nation of Indians’ Reservation Friday night, where they say a man ran over a woman with an ATV.

Deputies say Jack Warrior, Jr. became confrontational during a gathering and was asked to leave.

After he began to leave, Warrior allegedly turned the vehicle around and drove toward a group of people, striking and injuring a woman.

The woman was taken to ECMC with multiple injuries. Warrior was also injured and taken to Lake Shore Hospital.

He is charged with felony assault with intent to injure, reckless endangerment, and multiple vehicle violations.

Warrior was committed to the Erie County Holding Center on $30,000 bail as the investigation continues. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
