Mercy Hospital Autumn Ball

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Hundreds of people gathered Friday night for the annual Mercy Hospital Autumn Ball.

The event helps raise money to fund hospital projects and this year’s proceeds go toward the Hearts Changed and Lives Transformed campaign.

Kathy Swenson, Exec. Director of the Mercy Hospital Foundation, says the hospital is the “heart hub of the Catholic Health system.” Cardiac events are the leading cause of death in Western New York so this money benefits the entire community. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
