Charges levied against man who allegedly robbed the same 7-Eleven twice

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — The person behind two armed robberies in Jamestown is behind bars, according to police in Jamestown.

Officers say they arrested Noel Vellon, a 41-year-old Jamestown man, who is accused of pulling a gun twice in two robberies that were two days apart. Police say Vellon pulled a gun on a store attendant at the 1011 East Second Street 7-Eleven early on Sunday morning, then again at the same convenience store on early Monday morning.

On Monday afternoon, police say they were able to locate the man, then charged him with two counts of second degree robbery and two counts of second degree menacing.

After investigation, officers say they learned the gun he pulled was likely a replica air pistol.

Vellon was placed in Jamestown City Jail while he awaits an arraignment on the charges. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
