Wrong way driver on I-190 dies Saturday morning

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)-  At 3:14 a.m. Saturday morning State Police began investigating a multiple vehicle accident on I-190.

An Audi A8 was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes near Exit 8 Niagara Street. The Audi collided head on with a Toyota Tundra while a third vehicle attempting to avoid the accident struck the Toyota.

The male driver of the Audi, 32 year-old Duriel Price, was deceased at the scene. 45 year-old Robert Oram, driver of the Toyota, was extricated from his vehicle and transported to ECMC where he is listed in critical condition. The driver of the third vehicle was uninjured.

Northbound lanes were closed for approximately 5 hours while the investigation took place.
