Bills still have a slight chance of making the playoffs

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Bill loss to the Eagles drops them down to 9th in the AFC standings. However, hope is not completely lost for fans hoping the team can still sneak their way into the playoffs.

If the Bills can beat the Redskins, Cowboys, and Jets to close the season, and get help elsewhere, they will still be in the playoff conversation.

But here’s what else has to happen:

  • The Steelers would need to lose two of their next three games, or
  • The Chiefs would have to lose all three of their remaining games
  • The Bills would also need the Jets lose one of their next two games before they come here to play the Bills in the season finale

The website FiveThirtyEight.com puts Buffalo at an 8% chance of making the playoffs this season.
