Legal advice services at Buffalo Public Schools expand

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Free legal services offered to students and families of students at Buffalo Public Schools will expand for the current school year.

“We are excited to expand the program in our second year,” said David Rust, Say Yes Buffalo Executive Director.   “The partnership accessed the need and was able to react to it by offering the new site. We are very proud to partner on such a worthy project.”

The legal advice is available four times a week at five Buffalo Public School buildings. Times and buildings are listed below:

East High School
820 Northampton Street, Buffalo, NY 14211
3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

“These legal clinics are helping children to achieve better in school by addressing important legal needs that could otherwise disrupt the family stability,” said Robert Elardo, Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, CEO.
