Truck collides with several trees in early morning crash

PAVILION, N.Y. (WIVB) — After colliding with several trees in Pavilion, a driver was hospitalized early Thursday morning.

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office says Perry resident Taylor Scaccia, 22, was driving his Nissan pickup truck on York Road when he lost control and went off the South shoulder and hit the trees.

Scaccia had to be extracted from the vehicle by members of the Perry and LeRoy Volunteer Fire Departments. He was then flown to the University of Rochester Medical Center by Mercy Flight.
