BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The talented singer, producer and songwriter Tom Hambridge will always be welcome in his home town of Buffalo.
Mayor Brown saw to that Monday when he named Dec. 28 as Tom Hambridge Day in the City of Buffalo. Brown said Hambridge’s many awards speak to his successful career.
“Our city is proud of Tom’s achievements and we thank him for his continued commitment and devotion to the arts, which help shape the heart of our society, a city’s quality of life and play a key role in spurring economic growth.”
Although a native of Buffalo, Hambridge now lives in Nashville with his wife and two daughters, each who attended the proclamation in Buffalo’s City Hall.
Hambridge’s parents still live in Buffalo and he visits them frequently.
