Authorities investigating arson fires at vacant homes in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police in Jamestown are investigating a series of arsons at vacant homes in the city.

Police say the arsons occurred at three different homes on Spring Street and N. Main Street on the north side of the city during the past week. The first blaze occurred on Christmas Eve and the most recent ones occurred on Wednesday.

Along with these, investigators are still looking into arson fires dating back to 2014.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on any of these arson fires to call 483-7531 or leave an anonymous tip at 483-TIPS (8477).
