Niagara County Manager to step down in March

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — Niagara County Manager Jeffrey Glatz plans to leave his position on March 31.

Glatz submitted his resignation Thursday. In doing so, he said he has decided to ““step away from the rigors of serving as the chief administrator for a public corporation with a significant annual budget and a large workforce”  in order to focus on other parts of life.

He has held the position for five years.

While turning in the resignation letter, Glatz said, “It’s been a great honor, and more importantly, a privilege to work for our taxpayers every day the last five years, and I’m proud of our accomplishments.”
